About ESIC
The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) provides comprehensive medical care to workers earning up to ₹21,000 per month (₹25,000 for persons with disabilities) and their dependents. ESIC empanels private hospitals, diagnostic centres, and blood banks to deliver secondary care and super-specialty services on cashless basis to its beneficiaries.

Types of ESIC Empanelment
1. Secondary Care (Specialty Services)

2. Super-Specialty Services (Tertiary Care)
For advanced procedures in cardiology, neurology, oncology, etc. Often linked to CGHS rates. Super-specialists up to age 65 eligible.
3. Diagnostic Centres & Blood Banks
Separate empanelment for labs meeting quality standards. Recent mandate for PMBI-approved labs.

Eligibility Requirements
